In 2007, Tasos Kordonouris and Yiannis Patsavouras start jamming some ideas of Tasos. They think about giving life to a new musical project.

Miltos is asked to join the band as a vocalist/lyricist and he accepts. He also provides the band with its initial aim, "Ism".

Anno 2007 still, and the three of them record their first work, "Abyssus Abyssum Invocat", which contains nine tracks two of which are instrumental. The album contains sounds only of drums and guitar. Plus the vocals.

Sotiris K. joins the band as (the first) bassist and the band begins to do its first gigs.

Few months later, Sotiris abandons the crew and the band turns into "Ism of Karawan" instead of plain "Ism".

The bass duties are charged upon Yiorgos Doulougeris who may have been the biggest fan of the band.

The band records a live rehearsal featuring six new tracks of a planned record which would be called "Ex Oriente Lux". The mentioned rehearsal was released under the alias "Full Rehearsal Performance".

Ism of Karawan though decided to soon stop serving their tunes to any kind of audience.

Any try of reuniting their forces would be condemned to shatter.
